Borderbreakers – Export Offices present their success stories
It’s not so commonly known that almost each country in the world has its own music export office.  Fifty different music export offices operate all over the globe; but how do they work exactly? How does their work affect music markets? How can they help artists to export their music abroad? Winning the EBBA – the European Border Breakers Award, the prize from whom this panel took its name – ; would it help?
Representatives of the music export offices from Switzerland, Austria, France and the newly-founded Italian one (launched by SIAE) will meet at Linecheck Festival to answer these queries, discuss the diverse manoeuvres adopted in these countries to support their respective music industries, present some of their success stories and illustrate their new projects for the near future.
Oltre la frontiera – gli Uffici Esportazione e le storie dei loro successi
Non tutti sanno che quasi ogni paese al mondo ha il proprio ufficio di esportazione musicale. Cinquanta diversi uffici operano in tutto il globo, ma in cosa consiste esattamente il loro lavoro? In che modo riescono a influenzare i mercati musicali? Come possono aiutare gli artisti a esportare la loro musica all’estero, magari vincendo l’EBBA – l’European Border Breakers Award, il premio dal quale questo incontro ha preso il titolo?
I rappresentanti degli uffici di esportazione musicale di Svizzera, Austria, Francia e Italia (quest’ultimo appena lanciato da SIAE) si incontreranno durante il Linecheck Festival per rispondere a queste domande, discutere delle diverse modalità di supporto all’industria musicale del proprio paese, presentare alcune storie di successo e illustrare i nuovi progetti per il futuro
