Mark Sheridan is Reader In Music and Creativity: University of the Highlands and Islands, Scotland.
He has worked in the Creative Industries for 30 years as academic, composer and director at national and international level through commissions, presentations and events. He has worked with leading musicians in Scotland and France; co-founder of EURICCA; and is currently involved in an Erasmus project in entrepreneurship with young people in Portugal. UK lead on EC schemes in professional development in the music industry and was the Director of a creative project in the Hebrides to attract funding and support for CIs in the local Gaelic community. European Director on ‘The Atlantic Seaway’ project: The Alliance. A charitable organisation registered in New Hampshire, USA to promote Scottish Music.
