She is working on a range of issues including copyright, licensing, electronic commerce, platforms regulation, data protection.
Previously, she was Director of the European Office of IFPI, representing the recording industry worldwide, and led the IFPI policy and lobbying in the EU. This included the 1996 WIPO Treaties, the EU Directives on E-Commerce, Copyright, Enforcement and Term Extension, and more recently the EU copyright reform.
Olivia Regnier is a qualified lawyer at the Brussels Bar and worked in the Brussels Law firm Liedekerke, Wolters, Waelbroek and Kirkpatrick. She was also a member of the Copyright Unit in the European Commission.
